Start with a reference.
Clarify the construction.
The buyer asked to adapt a jacket shape into an all-black garment with original artwork on the back and a logo or label on the front or sleeve. A centre-front zip was also discussed. Blesstop reviewed these details before preparing the sampling direction.
The buyer preferred a double-layer construction and also requested a single-layer quotation for comparison. Water resistance was part of the brief. These requirements guided the material discussion; this case does not specify a tested waterproof rating.
The initial enquiry quantity evolved into discussion of a possible 100-piece order, split between M and XL. The buyer explicitly requested a sample of each size before placing a bulk order.
Resolve the details
before cutting.
Reference images communicate a look, but pattern construction and measurements still need agreement. Blesstop supplied a size chart and explained how its available pattern differed from the reference.
| Review point | Development response |
|---|---|
| Sleeve construction | The reference had a dropped shoulder; the available Blesstop pattern used raglan sleeves. The distinction was explained during the fit discussion. |
| Measurement method | A size chart was supplied, with raglan sleeve length measured from the back collar so the buyer could compare the pattern with their design. |
| Front and back layout | A garment layout showed the small front motif and the larger line artwork across the upper back for review before sampling. |
| Front logo size | The buyer requested a smaller logo. Blesstop sent a revised layout, which the buyer accepted. |
| Size samples | The buyer requested samples in both proposed sizes before deciding on a bulk order. |
Keep the buyer
close to the work.
Blesstop shared a pattern-development update, followed by photographs of the artwork on garment panels and the sewn jacket samples. The buyer welcomed the updates and asked to keep seeing progress.

From the first enquiry
to a sewn sample.
The supplied records follow the development work from September through October 2026. The milestone shown here is sample preparation and photography.
Review the jacket direction
Black fabric, artwork, layering, size options and the sleeve construction were discussed. The buyer requested samples before a bulk order.
Reduce the front logo
A smaller front-logo option was supplied after the buyer’s request. The revised layout received a positive response.
Share development progress
A pattern-development photograph was sent. The buyer asked for continued updates as work progressed.
Show the garment samples
Photographs of the sewn jackets were shared, with front and back views illustrating the garment and artwork placement.
Documented outcome
- A reference-led jacket brief translated into a sample-development direction.
- Size-chart guidance and a clear explanation of raglan versus dropped-shoulder construction.
- A smaller front-logo layout accepted by the buyer, followed by garment-panel and sewn-sample photographs.
Project stage: sampling. Bulk-order confirmation, shipment and final customer approval are not established by the supplied records.
